No matter your skill level, Brevard Public Schools offer a Coed volleyball and basketball camp for sessions 2 and 3. This program is designed to help students build and develop fundamentals of the game of volleyball and basketball. Keep in mind that both volleyball and basketball are physical sports. This requires students to run, jump, and perform other gross motor skills. Sneakers are required. In volleyball students will learn the history of the game along with passing, setting, serving, spiking, and blocking. In basketball students will learn the origin of the game in part with the physical aspect which will include playing offense/defense, passing, dribbling, shooting and rebounding. These sporting activities teach a very important lesson in life, teamwork. Just like in the classroom, it is important to pay attention to what is being taught because the person who is paying attention is the person who will practice it the right way. Please note, session 2 will focus on volleyball and session 3 will focus on basketball.
